01. This is an application seeking restoration of the main
writ petition, which was dismissed for non-prosecution on
03.02.2026. Application has been filed within the prescribed period
of limitation.
02. In the application, it has been submitted that on the
relevant date, the counsel for the petitioners was engaged in another
Court as a result of which he could not appear before this Court.
03. For the reasons assigned in the application, the same is
allowed and the writ petition is restored to its original number,
subject to deposit of Rs. 500/- as costs in the Advocates' Welfare
Fund within a period of ten days.
04. Application stands disposed of.
05. List the main petition for consideration on 11.03.2026.
