ORDER
(09.02.2024.)
This is an application seeking extension of time to comply with the judgment dated 12.09.2023. It may be noted that vide judgment dated 12.09.2023, this Court, while allowing the writ petition of the respondent, directed the appellants herein to reinstate the respondent herein in service and pay 50% of the back wages within a period of two months from the date of judgment. Two months expired on 12.11.2023.
Belated application is filed to seek extension of time to implement the judgment (supra) on the ground that the matter has been taken up with the Ministry of Law for further necessary action.
Be that as it may, we find that there is no sufficient cause seeking extension of time to implement the judgment. Judgment is already six months old and ought to have been implemented by this time. The application is found to be without merit and is, accordingly, dismissed.
