                                         ORDER

In terms of order dated 30.11.2022, Chief Engineer M&RE,

Sandeep Sethi was present in the Court. He assured that the judgment dated

26.06.2013 passed in OWP No. 736/2013 will be complied in letter and

spirit within one month positively and compensation in terms of the

aforesaid order will be paid to the petitioner. On this assurance extended by

the concerned Chief Engineer, M&RE, the proceedings in the contempt

petition was deferred and his personal presence was also dispensed with.

Despite assurance extended on 30.11.2022, the compliance report

has not been filed, therefore, this Court is constrained to direct the

respondent No. 4, present incumbent holding the post, to appear in person

on the next date to explain his conduct before proceeding further in this

matter.

Registry to serve a copy of this order in the office of Chief

Engineer, M&RE Wing, Jammu.
