In the instant petition, order/judgment dated 3.2.2020 is stated to have been violated by the respondents whereby through a writ of mandamus the respondents came to be commanded to appoint the petitioner on compassionate basis on account of death of her father who had died in service.
Mr. Alla ud Din Ganai, DAG appearing counsel for the respondents states that the judgment/order dated 3.2.2020 came to be assailed before the Division Bench in an appeal being LPA 101/2020 which appeal came to be allowed in terms of order dated 27.7.2021 and the order/judgment dated 3.2.2020 whereunder the instant contempt petition has arisen came to be set aside. Mr. Alla ud Din Ganai, DAG thus would submit that the instant contempt petition is liable to be closed.
In view of the statement of Mr. Ganai, the contempt notice issued in the instant petition is recalled, proceedings closed and petition disposed of.
