In response to an order dated 8th July, 2022, Manisha Sarin, Secretary, J&K Board of School Education, is present in person. She submits that the matter is returned back from the Finance Department with the observation that the matter needs to be decided at the level of the board itself. She submits that the matter is taken up with the Secretary, to the Government Department of School Education, who is presently holding the charge of chairman of the board, so that the judgment passed by this Court is complied with in letter and spirit.

On the request of the Secretary appearing in person, four weeks' time is given to pursue the matter with the chairman and ensure the passing of appropriate order in compliance with the judgment passed by this Court.

In the meanwhile, the personal appearance of the Secretary on the next date of hearing is dispensed with.
