Notice. Mr. Rajan Kahol, learned Additional

Advocate General, waives notice on behalf of the

respondents/State. He prays for and is granted four weeks' time

to file reply.

Since it is not in dispute that notification dated

27.11.2015 (Annexure P-2) stands quashed by the coordinate

Bench of this Court vide Judgment dated 2.5.2022, passed in

CWPOA No. 6401 of 2019 alongwith connected matter, there

appears to be no impediment in issuing direction to the

department to consider application of the petitioners on the

basis of their representation, which is pending adjudication for

long. It is clarified that pendency of the present petition shall

not be bar for the respondents to decide the representation in

view of the afore fact, if so advised.
