1. Learned counsel for the respondents has returned with

instructions.

2. Hard copy of the notification dated 28.09.2024 has been placed

before us. Relevant part of the notification reads as under:-

"Notification

The Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to cancel the merger of Government Primary School Ninvi Chhaladi, which has been merged with GCPS Ganvi, Block Sarahan, District Shimla, vide this Department's notification of even number dated:17th August 2024 (at Sr.No.301), with immediate effect, in the public interest."

3. Given the position reflected in the notification, learned counsel

for the petitioners says that the Writ petition can be closed as their

grievance stands redressed.

4. The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

5. Needless to add, respondents will take necessary consequential

steps to deploy teachers and staff in Government Primary School

[GPS] Ninvi, Education Block Sarahan, Tehsil Rampur Bushahr,

District, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
