Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge
Whether approved for reporting?1
For the petitioner : Ms. Reeta Hingmang, Advocate.
For the respondents : Mr. Rajat Chauhan, Law Officer.
Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral)

By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter

alia, prayed for the following reliefs:-

"(i) That the office order of rejection dated 18.05.2016

vide Annexure P-4 and further office order of rejection on

January, 2017 be quashed/set-aside.

(ii) The respondents be directed to consider the name

of the petitioner for the grant of 04.09.2014 time

scale/enhancement and release the second time scale

increment/enhancement or benefits under New ACP

1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?

2024:HHC:11042 Scheme to the petitioner on completion of nine years of

service at par with his counterparts all the benefits

incidental thereto."

2. A perusal of the averments made in the writ petition

as well as documents appended therewith demonstrate that in

terms of Annexure P-4, a representation that was preferred by

the petitioner on the issue that has been raised, by way of this

writ petition was dismissed. The date of dismissal is

18.05.2016. The petitioner has not come forthwith with any

cogent explanation as to why the petitioner has challenged this

communication after a gap of eight years. Therefore, in the

considered view of this Court the petition is grossly hit by

delays and latches.

3. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner

prays for and is permitted to withdraw the petition. Accordingly,

this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending

miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
