Learned Additional Advocate General has placed on

record instructions dated 01.05.2024. Even on the previous date

an application for extension of time for filing compliance affidavit

had been filed by the respondents-State, upon which the Court

passed the following order:-

Be registered. The applicants/respondents have filed this application for extension of time. Having perused the contents of the application and given the fact that the applicant/petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 84 years, we deem it appropriate to

defer the consideration on this petition by two weeks. Ordered accordingly. Application stands disposed of.

2. Even today, the respondents have placed on record

instructions, which go to indicate that the so-called SLP has still

not been filed by the respondents.

3. In the given facts and circumstances, we deem it

appropriate to dispose of this execution petition by directing the

respondents to comply with the judgment in question subject to

the outcome of the SLP that may be (if any) filed. Needful be

done within four weeks.
