As per instructions dated 09.07.2024, passed

by the Director, Town and Country Planning

Department, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, the relief,

which has been sought, by the petitioner, has already

been granted to him. The operative portion of the said

instructions is reproduced, as under:-

"Keeping in view of the directions passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court, work charge status is being

.

conferred to Shri Rajinder Pal (Petitioner),

Chainman currently posted at Town Planning Office Amb, District Una, on completion of 8 years of daily wage service in the year 2006 with all consequential benefits will be released

subject to the final outcome of pending SLP before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Further the benefits consequent on conferment of work charge status shall be restricted to three

years for the period prior to filing of petition. It is also pertinent to mention herein that Shri Rajinder Pal shall submit undertaking regarding depositing that he will deposit the amount in the State Government Treasury if Hon'ble Supreme

Court of India will pass a judgment in favour of

H.P. State Government."

2. In view of the above instructions, the present

petition does not survive. However, the respondents

are directed to comply with the said instructions,

within a period of six weeks, from the date of passing

of this order.

3. Consequently, the present petition is disposed

of in the aforesaid terms.

4. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any,

shall also stand disposed of.
