By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for

the following reliefs:-

"A) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction

thereby directing the respondents particularly respondent no. 1 to allow and permit the petitioner

to re-appear and retake the supplementary examination in respect of Economics-II (subject) pertaining to the 2nd Semester in order to clear the backlog paper at the time of taking regular exams of 3rd Year;

Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?

B) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing the respondents to permit and allow the petitioner to attend the classes of 3rd year (5th and 6th Semesters respectively) which have

.

already commenced;

C) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction

thereby directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to 5th Semester subject to such conditions as may be imposed by this Hon'ble Court;

D) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing the respondents that Petitioner be permitted and allowed to do all such other regular

acts that a regularly admitted student is allowed to

pursue including participations in debates, declamations, moot court, etc.;

E) issue an appropriate writ, order or direction

thereby directing the respondents to admit the petitioner in 3rd year as a regular admitted student

and allow him to continue as a regular admitted

student."

2. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner as

well as learned counsel appearing for the respondent-

University, without adjudicating the petition on merit, this

petition is hereby closed, with liberty to the petitioner to

approach the Vice Chancellor of the respondent-University vis-

a-vis the reliefs that have been claimed by the petitioner in the

petition and representation, if any, filed by the petitioner to the

Vice Chancellor be decided by the Vice Chancellor

.

sympathetically within a period of two days as from the date of

receipt, of course in accordance with law.

3. The petition stands disposed of. Pending

miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
