Learned counsel for respondent No.4 has placed

on record instructions dated 06.04.2023, claiming that

grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

2. After perusing the instructions, learned vice counsel

for the petitioner has submitted that though pension has been

.

granted to the petitioner w.e.f. 01.01.2018, but pension is being

released prospectively from the month of April, 2023 and

arrears of the pension have not been paid yet.

3. Respondents are directed to pay arrears of pension

to the petitioner on or before 31.08.2023, failing which,

petitioner shall also be entitled for interest on the arrears of

pension @ 7.5% per annum.

4. In view of the above observation and direction, the

present petition is closed and disposed of, with liberty to the

petitioner to file fresh writ petition, if occasion arises to do so.

Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall

also stand disposed of.
