Judgement Date : 9 March, 2021
Cr. Revision No. 257 of 2020 9.3.2021 Present: Mr. Surender Verma, Advocate, for the petitioner.
.
Mr. Arvind Sharma, Advocate, for the respondent.
CrMP No. 421 of 2021 By way of instant application, filed under S.482
CrPC, prayer has been made on behalf of the petitioner for
extension of time to comply with order dated 6.1.2021,
whereby this Court, while suspending substantive
sentence imposed by learned trial Court, directed the
petitioner to deposit entire compensation amount and
furnish personal bonds in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with
one surety in the like amount, to the satisfaction of
learned trial Court, within a period of six weeks. Though,
personal bonds in terms of order dated 6.1.2021 stand
furnished but since petitioner on account of compelling
circumstances has not been able to deposit the awarded
amount, prayer has been made on his behalf for extension
of time.
Having taken note of the fact that an amount of
Rs.75,000/- out of total amount of compensation stands
deposited, prayer made in the instant application deserves
to be allowed, accordingly, further three weeks' time is
granted to the petitioner to comply with order dated
6.1.2021, failing which respondent would be at liberty to
get the judgment of learned trial Court executed in
accordance with law. Application stands disposed of.
Cr. Revision No. 257 of 2020 List on 27.4.2021, on which date, petitioner shall
remain present in the court.
