The petitioner, who was working with the

respondent­Corporation as Commi­III and retired as

such on 30.04.2018, has come up before this Court

seeking release of balance retiral benefits i.e. gratuity,

leave encashment alongwith statutory interest.

2. Notice. Mr. Naresh Kaul, Advocate appears

and waives service of notice on behalf of the

respondents.

3. In view of the nature of the order we propose

to pass, no response is required from the respondents.

Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes

4. Given the prayers in the petition, let the

respondents release the balance retiral benefits i.e.

.

Gratuity Rs.4,06,369/­ and leave encashment

Rs.4,600/­ alongwith statutory interest on the entire

amount of gratuity and leave encashment from due

date i.e. 01.05.2018 till the date of its realisation on

account of delayed payments. There shall also be a

direction to r the respondent­Corporation to file

compliance report within three months from today.

5. In view of the above, the instant petition is

disposed of with the aforesaid directions. The petitioner

shall be at liberty to approach this Court again in case

he still feels aggrieved and dissatisfied.

6. For compliance, to come up on 03.06.2021.
