For the reasons recorded in the judgment pronounced today, the Hon'ble Court has passed following orders,

"In the result, the present Criminal Appeal stands allowed party. The judgment and order of conviction dated 16.05.2013 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Panchmahals at Godhra in Sessions Case No.151/2012 is hereby modified to conviction under Section 304 Part-II of the Indian Penal Code instead of Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. Therefore, the appellant - accused is ordered to be set at liberty forthwith, if not required in any other offence. Record and Proceedings are ordered to be sent back to the concerned trial Court forthwith."
