The appellant Insurance Company is represented. Respondent Nos. 1, 3 &
4 are also present. Respondent No. 2 is the minor child of respondent No. 1,
who represents the said respondent No. 2.
The parties have settled the matter for a final amount of Rs. 17,00,000/-
(Seventeen Lakhs only), out of which the settlement amount is to be
apportioned between the claimants as follows:-

"It is further directed that out of the total compensation Rs.
2,80,000/- to be released in favour of the claimant No. 3 i.e.
mother of the deceased and Rs. 50,000/- to be released in
favour of claimant No. 4 i.e. father of the deceased. Rs.
4,00,000/- to be deposited in FDR in any nationalized
bank/post office in favour of claimant No. 2. i.e. minor
daughter of the deceased till she attains the age of majority.
Further, Rs. 9,70,000/- to be deposited in FDR in any
nationalized bank/post office in favour of claimant No. 1 i.e.
wife of the deceased and the remaining amount to the tune of
Rs. 9,90,800/- along with interest shall be released in favour of
claimant No. 1 i.e. wife of the deceased."
Statutory deposit earlier made is allowed to be withdrawn by the appellant
Insurance Company.
