Heard Mr. N.H. Barbhuiya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. S.H. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent.

An order dated 15.11.2025 passed by the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Barpeta in F.C.[Crl.] no. 368/2025 is in challenge in this criminal petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita [BNSS], 2023.

The learned counsel for the parties have referred to Notifications no. 30, dated 21.03.2023 & dated 22.05.2024, to submit that matters arising from orders and judgments of the Family Courts are to be listed before the Hon'ble Special Division Bench.

The Registry to look into the matter and thereafter, list this case with a report before the appropriate Bench on 20.01.2026.
