Heard Mr. D.K. Bhattacharyya, learned counsel for the appellant. Also heard Mr. K.K. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam appearing for the State and Ms. D. Ghosh, learned Legal Aid Counsel appearing for the respondent No.2.

At the deliberation of the matter, Ms. D. Ghosh, learned Legal Aid Counsel for the respondent No.2 submitted that she was provided with the copy of the judgment and evidence of the PWs but on perusal of the same, it reveals that the evidence of the PW.1 and some other prosecution witnesses are incomplete, for which she is not in a position to argue the matter.

In view of the above submission, the Registry is directed to supply the memo of appeal and other documents immediately to Ms. Ghosh, so that the matter can be heard on the next date of listing.

List the matter on 23.10.2025.
