Page No.# 2/2

2. This application under Section 438/442 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Dr. Snehangshu Subhram Chelleng, impugning the judgment and order dated 21.12.2024, passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court No. III, Kamrup (M), Guwahati in F.C.(Crl.) Case No.203/2021.

3. It appears that the petitioner has preferred this petition against the final judgment of the Trial Court assailing the territorial jurisdiction of the Trial Court to entertain the F.C.(Crl.) Case No.203/2021.

4. A query was posed to the learned counsel for the appellant, as to when there is an appellate provision under Section 19 of the Family Court's Act, 1984 to prefer an appeal against the impugned judgment, whether this revision is barred by the provision of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS).

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner sought for time to reply to the said query.

6. The prayer is allowed.

7. Let this matter be listed on 7th March, 2025.
