Mr. S.N. Krishnatraya, learned counsel for the appellant prays for Page No.# 2/2

adjournment of the matter on the ground of personal difficulty.

Mr. S. Paul, learned counsel appearing for the respondent husband submits that he has got no objection to the same.

The matter pertains to a decree of divorce being granted by the learned Family Court, on the basis of the suit filed by the husband.

The case of the parties was that they had married in 1993 and had been living separately from 1998. Vide the impugned judgment passed by the learned Family Court, a decree of divorce had been granted by the learned Family Court with permanent alimony amounting to Rs. 5 Lakhs to be paid by the respondent husband. The appellant wife is challenging the divorce decree.

On the prayer of the parties, list the matter on 21.11.2023.

In the meantime, the parties shall submit their assets and liabilities in the form of an affidavit, as held by the Supreme Court in the case of Rajnesh Vs. Neha, reported in 2021 2 SCC 324.
