By this criminal revision petition under Sections 401/397 of the CrPC, the petitioner has prayed for setting aside and stay of the impugned Judgment and order, dated 09.05.2023 passed in GR Case No. 3458/2017 by the learned SDJM, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur whereby he has been convicted under Section 448/323/380/353 of the IPC.

Issue notice to the respondents.

As Mr. D.P.Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam has entered appearance on behalf of the State respondent No.1, no notice need be issued. However, a copy of the petition along with the documents annexed there with be furnished to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor ( Mr. D.P.Goswami) within 3 days.

Petitioner to take steps for service of notice on respondent No.2 by registered post with A/D within 5 days.

Call for the LCRs.

Upon consideration of the grounds cited in the revision petition and on perusal of the documents annexed therewith, further proceeding vide impugned Judgment and order, dated 09.05.2023 passed in GR Case No. 3458/2017 by the learned SDJM, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur shall remain stayed till the next returnable date.
