2. By filing this appeal u/s 374 (2) Cr.P.C., the appellant has challenged the judgment and order of conviction dated 15.06.2023 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur in Sessions Case No. 197(NL)/2017, thereby sentencing the appellant to undergo RI for life and fine of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with default stipulations.

3. The appeal is admitted for hearing.

4. Call for the LCR.

5. Issue notice returnable in 4 (four) weeks.

6. Requisite extra copies of the appeal be furnished to the learned APP in course of the day.

7. The appellant shall take steps within 2 (two) days for service of notice on the respondent no.2 by registered post with A/D as well as by usual process to be routed through the jurisdictional Magistrate.
