This is a statutory appeal against the judgment and order dated 23.08.2021, convicting and sentencing the appellant to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 3(three) years and to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/-, with a default clause for commission of offence punishable under Section 8 of the POCSO Act, in Special (P) Case No.15 of 2019, by the learned Special Judge, Kokrajhar.

Issue notice upon the respondent.

Since the State Respondent No.1 has entered appearance through Mr. Bankim Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no formal notice need be issued upon the said respondent.

Extra copies of the appeal memo be furnished to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
