Heard Mr. D. Saraf, the learned counsel for the petitioner. It is submitted by the learned counsel that the petitioner filed a review petition against an order u/s 40 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 against the judgment dated 10.06.2020, passed by the District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum, Guwahati in CC No. 120/2016. It is submitted by Mr. Saraf that the concerned forum has not yet registered the said review application u/s 40 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 which empowers the forum to review its order.

In view of the same, Ms. K. Phukan, the learned State counsel shall take necessary instructions as to why the said review petition which was filed by the petitioner has not yet been registered and taken up by the Forum.

Extra copy of this writ petition shall be served on Ms. Phukan to take necessary instructions.
