1. Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

2. The application is disposed of.

3. Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek direction thereby for

quashing of FIR No. 14/2018, dated 11th January, 2018 registered at Police

Station K.M. Pur, for the offence punishable under Section 135 of The

Electricity Act, 2003 and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom.

4. Notice issued.

5. Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and counsel for the

respondent no.2 and with the consent of the counsel for the parties, the

present petition is taken up for final disposal.

6. The present petition is filed on the ground that the parties have settled

their disputes amicably and the respondent no.2 has no objection if the

present petition is allowed.

7. Since the settlement amount has been paid by the petitioner to

respondent no. 2 and respondent no.2 has issued no objection certificate,

therefore, this Court is inclined to quash the concerned FIR as no useful

purpose would be served in prosecuting the petitioners any further.

8. For the reasons afore-recorded, the FIR No. 14/2018 dated 11th

January, 2018 registered at Police Station K.M. Pur instituted for the offence

punishable under Section 135 of The Electricity Act, 2003 and consequent

proceedings therefrom are quashed.

9. Accordingly, the petition is allowed and disposed of.

10. Order dasti, under the signatures of Court Master.
