1. Respondent No.2 appears in person. He is duly identified by the IO SI Jai Chand.

2. The petitioners have invoked the writ jurisdiction of this court under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short 'Cr.PC') for quashing of the FIR bearing No.0310/2017, registered on 25.04.2017 against them with Police Station Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi, under Sections 323/342/506/34 IPC, on the complaint of respondent No.2.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the parties are

students and they are residing at Mukherjee Nagar in Paying Guest House. He submits that an altercation took place between the parties on 24.04.2017. Consequently, the above said FIR was registered. The petitioners submit that they will not indulge themselves in such type of activities in future.

4. The parties had amicably resolved and settled their all disputes by way of Settlement Deed dated 11.05.2017. The respondent No.2 present in the court states that he has amicably resolved and settled their all disputes. He submits that he does not want to pursue the present FIR. He submits that the said FIR may be quashed.

5. Learned ASC through the IO submit that the charge sheet has so far not been filed.

6. The parties have amicably settled their all disputes and no fruitful purpose would be served in further pursuing with the said FIR. Hence, to have peace and harmony in the society and to secure ends of justice, the FIR bearing No.0310/2017, registered on 25.04.2017 with Police Station Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi, under Sections 323/342/506/34 IPC and proceedings arising out of the same are hereby quashed.

7. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
