1. Status report has been filed. Respondent No.2 is also present.
He is being represented by his counsel. He is duly identified by the IO Bhagwan Singh.
2. The petitioners have invoked the writ jurisdiction of this court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short 'Cr.PC')
for quashing of the FIR bearing No.701/2015, registered on 17.10.2015 with Police Station Rajinder Nagar, Central Delhi, under Sections 420 read with Section 34 of IPC on the complaint of respondent No.2.
3. On making reference by this Court on 26.04.2017, the parties had amicably resolved all their disputes before the learned Mediator in Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre on 01.08.2017. As per the mediation settlement, the petitioner had agreed to pay a total sum of Rs.33,37,500/- to the respondent No.2 in full and final settlement of his claim.

At the time of settlement, the petitioner had paid a sum of Rs.32,00,000/- vide Demand Draft No.33328 dated 14.07.2017 issued by J & K Bank, E-9, IInd Floor, South Extension, Part-2, New Delhi to the respondent No.2. The respondent No.2 had also agreed not to pursue the FIR in question against the petitioners.

Pursuant to the settlement, today the petitioner No.1 had paid the balance settlement amount of Rs.1,37,500/- vide DD No.433086 dated 01.08.2017 drawn on Bank of Baroda, Greater Kailash, New Delhi to respondent No.2. Respondent No.2 present in the court states that he has received the entire settlement amount from the petitioner. He submits that he does not want to pursue the present FIR. He submits that the FIR may be quashed.
6. The parties have amicably settled their all disputes and no purpose would be served in further pursuing with the FIR
bearing No.701/2015, registered on 17.10.2015 with Police Station Rajinder Nagar, Central Delhi, under Sections 420 read with Section 34 of IPC. Hence, to secure ends of justice, the FIR bearing No.701/2015, registered on 17.10.2015 with Police Station Rajinder Nagar, Central Delhi, under Sections 420 read with Section 34 of IPC and proceedings arising out of the same are hereby quashed.
7. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
