02. 17.1.2014 Heard learned counsel for the parties.
This writ petition has been filed
challenging the illegal action of the opposite party in
not registering the case of the petitioner as an appeal
under Section 22 of the Orissa Survey Settlement Act.
During course of hearing, learned counsel
for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ
petition with liberty to file a detailed representation
before the Settlement Officer, Jobra, Cuttack for
redressal of his grievances.
Granting such liberty, writ petition is
disposed of as withdrawn.
In the event the petitioner files a detailed
representation before the Settlement Officer, Jobra,
Cuttack-opposite party within two weeks hence, the
same shall be considered and disposed of in
accordance with law as expeditiously as possible,
preferably within a period of three months thereafter.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
