Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioners be kept on
record.
Heard Mr. Samanta, learned advocate appearing for
the petitioners.
Mr. Nandy, learned advocate appearing for the
respondents submits that challenging the judgment
impugned in the present writ petition another writ
petition being WP.CT. No. 104 of 2023 was preferred and
the same was disposed of by an order dated 21st June,
2023. In the said order, the respondents prayed for four
months time for complying with the order as directed by
a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in a writ petition being
WP.CT. No. 74 of 2016 and stated that they would follow
the very same procedure for the petitioners therein.
Mr. Nandy further submits, upon instruction, that in
respect of the petitioners in the present matter similar
steps are being taken.
In view thereof, the respondent no. 3 is directed to file
a report in the form of an affidavit on the returnable date
detailing the steps taken by the respondents on the basis
of the undertaking given by them in the earlier writ
petition being WP.CT. 104 of 2023.
List the matter for further consideration in the daily
supplementary list of this Court on 5th October, 2023 as
fixed at 2.00 p.m.
