The present revisional application has been preferred
challenging the judgment and order of conviction and
sentence being affirmed in Criminal Appeal No. 271 of 2019
by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 1st
Fast Track Court, Bichar Bhawan, Calcutta.
I find that there was a direction for fine of
Rs.70,00,000/-.
Mr. Mazumder, learned advocate appearing for the
petitioners submits that during the pendency of the appeal,
certain sum was deposited by way of fixed deposit before the
learned trial court.
I direct that a sum of Rs.14,00,000/- (Rupees fourteen
lakh) to be deposited in addition to that by three weeks from
date. Immediately on deposit of such sum of money, the
learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 14th Court, Calcutta would
stay the execution in connection with Complaint Case No.
23410 of 2008.
Needless to state that the appeal court's order would
also be stayed pursuant to the payment being deposited
before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of
this order duly downloaded from the official website of this
