Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on

record.

The applicant/appellant has preferred the present

appeal challenging the order of conviction and sentence

passed by the learned trial court.

Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the

applicant/appellant draws the attention of this Court to the

order which was passed by way of interim bail pursuant to

the judgment being delivered by the learned trial court on

29.03.2023. The applicant/appellant would continue on the

same bail, but would furnish a fresh bond of Rs.10,000/-

(Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like

amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction

of the learned Special Court.

If on bail, the applicant/appellant shall attend the

learned trial court once in a month and obtain an

acknowledgement till further orders of this Court.

The application being CRAN 1 of 2023 is, thus,

disposed of.

Department is directed to take steps for preparation of

paper books immediately on receipt of the lower court

records.

Learned Registrar Administration (L&OM), High Court,

Calcutta would take steps so that the lower court records are

received within a reasonable period of time and the paper

books are prepared by 30.07.2023.

List the appeal along with the paper books under the

heading "To Be Mentioned" on 01.08.2023.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order

duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied

for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all

requisite formalities.
