Learned advocate representing Kuntal Ghosh submits that steps are being taken for preferring an appeal against the direction passed in the judgment dated May 18, 2023. It has been submitted that time has been granted till July 31, 2023 for payment of costs.

Order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the petition for Special Leave to Appeal Nos. 11588-11589 of 2023 (Abhishek Banerjee v. Soumen Nandy & Ors.) dated May 26, 2023 has been produced before this Court.

It appears that the Hon'ble Supreme Court has been pleased to stay the imposition of the costs passed in the order dated May 18, 2023.

It appears that as on date there is no order staying the direction for payment of costs by Kuntal Ghosh.
