Three references were disposed of by a common judgment

and order dated 16th December, 2014.

The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited

was initially the requiring body who have subsequently transferred

their interest in favour of NTPC Limited. Both the WBPDCL and

NTPC Ltd. have preferred an appeal against the impugned order

dated 16th December, 2014. The State of West Bengal, the

acquiring body, however, did not file any appeal.

In view of the subsequent fact that WBPDCL may not be

required to file any separate paper book and the paper book filed

by NTPC Ltd. shall be treated to be paper book filed in respect of

all the appellants.

However, the learned Advocate representing the WBPDCL

shall serve copy of the memorandum of appeal upon Mr. Supratim

Dhar, learned Counsel representing the State and Mr. Prabir Reg,

learned advocate-on-record of the award-holders within one week

from date.

All the appeals shall be listed on 19 th January, 2023 and

shall be heard analogously.

All the parties shall file their Law Notes on 17th January,

2023.

Since all the parties are representing, service of notice of

appeal upon the respondents are dispensed with.

Mr. Supratim Dhar, learned Counsel for the State shall file

vakalatnama within one week from date.
