The revisional application has been preferred against

the judgment and order of conviction and sentence affirmed

in Criminal appeal No. 16 of 2023 in reszpect of the offence

under Section 138 of the N.I. Act.

The petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.2.4

lakhs with the ld. Metropolitan Magistrate, 3rd Court,

Calcutta in connection with Complaint case being no. C/2839

of 2000 by 15th of January, 2024.

In case, the aforesaid amount is deposited, in that

case, the ld. Metropolitan Magistrate, 3rd Court, Calcutta, will

not execute the judgment and order of conviction and

sentence.

Let the matter be listed under the heading 'To Be

Mentioned' on 17th of January, 2024, when further orders

would follow.

Ld. advocate for the petitioner is directed to file a

Supplementary Affidavit enclosing the receipt of the deposit

made with the aforesaid court.
