Mr. Parimal Kumar Pahari, learned advocate for

appellant-Insurance Company submits that the

compensation amount should carry interest from the

date of filing of the claim application till payment,

however, at page 5 the interest has been granted from

the date of filing of the claim application till deposit

which needs to be modified.

Mr. Subrata Bhattacharyya, learned advocate for

respondent-claimants also concurs to such

submissions.

In view of the submissions advanced on behalf of

the parties the interest granted on the compensation

amount shall be from the date of filing of the claim

application till payment.

The portion of order dated 02.01.2023 at page 5

third line shall stand modified to the above extent.

All other portions of the order shall remain

unaltered.

This order will be the part of the order dated

02.01.2023.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this judgment, if

applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of

necessary legal formalities.
