The writ petitions are heard in presence of
the learned advocates representing the petitioners,
West Bengal Board of Primary Education, District
Primary School Council, Dakshin Dinajpur and the
State respondents.
Mr. Maitra, learned senior advocate has
made his submission to some length and during
course of his submission Mr. Sanyal, learned
counsel representing the West Bengal Board of
Primary Education has relied upon one unreported
judgment delivered by a coordinate Bench on W.P.
6894(W) of 2017 (Monika Das & Ors. -vs- The State
of West Bengal & Ors.) and according to Mr. Sanyal
the issue involved in these writ petitions is covered
by the said judgment dated 10th December, 2019.
At this juncture, Mr. Maitra has prayed for
accommodation to go through the judgement to
make further submission on these writ petitions.
Hearing of the writ petitions stands
adjourned till 25th April, 2022 when it appear
under the same heading.
Mr. Sanyal has prayed for extension of time
to file affidavits-in-opposition in the three writ
petitions which are being considered today where
till date no affidavit has been filed on behalf of the
Board.
Time to file affidavits-in-opposition in those
three writ petitions is extended by 18th April, 2022
and affidavit-in-reply, if any, to be filed by the
petitioner by 22nd April, 2022.
