The applicants pray for their substitution in place of
the sole writ petitioner, who expired on 25 th April, 2020.
The delay in filing the said application is covered by the
judgment of the Hon'ble High Court passed on 17 th
January, 2022 in WPA 5323 of 2020.
In view of the above, the applicants be substituted in
place of the writ petitioner, since deceased.
The Department is directed to make necessary
amendments in the cause title of the writ petition
accordingly.
The application being CAN 1 of 2021 is disposed of.

Supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the
petitioners is taken on record.
Learned counsel for the State respondents seeks
accommodation to file a report in the form of affidavit in
this matter. Such report be submitted on the adjourned
date after service of advance copy to the petitioners.
Let the matter appear under the same heading on
20th April, 2022.
