D/L4 C.R.R.3401 of 2010 July 27,
In Re: An application under Section 401 read with Section 482 of the Bpg.
Code of Criminal Procedure;
Bijoy Thakur Versus State of West Bengal
Mr. Arijit Ganguly, Mr. Sanjib Kr. Dan.
...for the State.
Earlier, there was a direction upon Mr. Arijit Ganguly,
learned advocate appearing for the State to submit a status report
in respect of Naihati G.R.P.S. Case No.04 of 2008 dated 22.03.2008.
Today, a report has been submitted prepared by the
Inspector-in-Charge of Naihati G.R.P.S. which reflects that the trial
of the case has been concluded and three of the accused persons
have been acquitted from the charges.
It has also been informed that a separate revisional
application has been preferred and the records have been
transmitted. The said revisional application is in respect of the
judgment and order of acquittal passed by the trial court.
Let the report be kept with the record.
Accordingly, CRR 3401 of 2010 has become infructuous
and is, therefore, dismissed.
Pending connected applications, if any, are consequently
disposed of.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly
downloaded from the official website of this Court.
