Learned counsel for the CBI has also referred to
Section 17A of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988
and has placed reliance upon the judgment of the Hon'ble
Supreme Court in the matter of Yashwant Sinha and
others vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and
another reported in (2020) 2 SCC 338 paragraphs 116
to 119. Referring to the FIR (Annexure P-1), he has
submitted that the offence under the provision of
Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered.
