Since the contentions raised and issues involved in these

appeals are the same, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of
these cases by way of this common judgment.
2. In W.A.No.706 of 20283, challenge is to order dated 21.06.2023, passed in W.P.No.14219 of 2025 and W.A.No.707 of 2025 calls in question the order dated 21.06.2023, passed in W.P.No.14218 of 2025. By way of the said orders the learned single Judge dismissed the Writ Petitions, instituted by the appellants
herein.
3. The essence of the case of the Writ Petitioners-appellants as advocated by the learned counsel, Sri D.S.N.V.Prasada Babu is that by totally ignoring the agreements between them and the unofficial respondents, the official respondents are permitting to cut and remove the sandalwood trees from the subject lands. On the other hand, it is the specific case of the unofficial respondents that no such agreements have been entered into with the Writ Petitioners-
appellants herein.
4. The tenor of the pleadings in the Affidavits, filed in Support of the Writ Petitions, indicate, in clear and vivid terms, that the Writ Petitioners-appellants are seeking enforcement of contractual

obligations, under the agreements said to have been entered into. This in the considered opinion of this Court is impermissible by way of invoking the jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. In fact, the learned single Judge, by assigning cogent and convincing reasons, dismissed the writ petitions. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to meddle with the said well
articulated orders passed by the learned Single Judge.
(5) For the aforesaid reasons Writ Appeals are dismissed. There
shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this case, shall
stand closed.
