CONTEMPT CASE No. 277 of 2021
JUDGMENT:
Heard Sri N.B.Chandrasekhar, learned counsel, representing Sri D.
Lingarao, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned GP for Services-I,
representing the respondent.
2. This contempt petition was filed alleging willful and deliberate
disobedience of the interim order dated 23.09.2019 in W.P.No.14274 of 2019.
3. In the writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order of transfer.
This Court by interim order dated 23.09.2019 provided that the status quo shall
be maintained, which was being extended from time to time.
4. This Court issued notice to the respondent to show cause as to why
the contempt case should not be admitted.
5. The respondents have filed the counter affidavit.
6. Learned GP for Services-I, representing the respondent submits that
the interim order of status quo was granted on 23.09.2019, whereas the
petitioner had already been relieved on 22.07.2019. He further submits that the
writ petition was dismissed on 18.10.2022 giving liberty to the petitioner to
approach the authorities. Subsequently the petitioner was transferred to some
other place.
7. In view of the aforesaid, as also considering the averments made in
the counter affidavit, this Court is of the view that there is no willful or
deliberate disobedience of the interim order passed in the writ petition.

8. The contempt case is closed. Notice issued to the respondent is
discharged.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in
consequence.
