Gurrapu Guruvulu, vs The Government Of Andhra Pradesh ...
2021 Latest Caselaw 4301 AP

Citation : 2021 Latest Caselaw 4301 AP
Judgement Date : 25 October, 2021

Andhra Pradesh High Court - Amravati
Gurrapu Guruvulu, vs The Government Of Andhra Pradesh ... on 25 October, 2021
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY

                    WRIT PETITION No.17043 OF 2014

ORDER:-

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the

Constitution of India, seeking to direct the respondent Nos2

and 3 to consider the petitioner's representations dated

09.08.2004, 04.06.2014 for grant of pattadar pass books and

title deeds.

Though the petitioner made several allegations against

the respondents, during hearing, learned counsel for the

petitioner requested this Court, without touching the merits

of the case, to issue a direction to the respondent Nos. 2 and

3 to dispose of the representations dated 09.08.2004,

04.06.2014 in accordance with law.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue,

readily agreed to dispose of the representations of the

petitioner, dated 09.08.2004 and 04.06.2014, if any, pending

with the authorities.

In view of the submission of the learned Assistant

Government Pleader, I need not decide the truth of otherwise

of the allegations made in the petition. This Court is

conscious that no such direction be issued, in view of the

Judgment of the Apex Court in "The Government of India V.

P. Venkatesh1", wherein the Apex Court held that such

orders may make for a quick or easy disposal of cases in

overburdened adjudicatory institutions. But, they do no

2019 (8) SCALE 544

service to the cause of justice. As the learned counsel for the

petitioner himself requested to issue a direction to dispose of

the representations dated 09.08.2004 and 04.06.2014, I find

no other alternative except to issue such direction.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the

stage of admission, with the consent of both counsel,

directing the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to dispose of the

representations dated 09.08.2004 and 04.06.2014, subject to

permissibility in law, as expeditiously as possible. No costs.

The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand

closed.
