1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the records.

2. Learned counsel for the applicant states that NBW has been issued in a mechanical manner which is contrary to the law as laid down in the case of Inder Mohan Goswami v. State of Uttaranchal; (2007) 12 SCC 1.

3. Learned AGA does not dispute the said proposition of law.

4. In view thereof and considering the law in the case of Inder Mohan Goswami (supra), impugned order dated 07.01.2025 is quashed subject to the applicant co-operating with the trial and furnishing fresh sureties.

5. Present application is accordingly allowed.
