- Heard Sri Ambuj Bajpai, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Standing counsel for the State- respondents.

- The prayer made by the petitioners is for a direction to respondent No.1 i.e. Deputy Director of Consolidation, Barabanki to decide revision No.797 (now 722 of 2025), expeditiously.

- It is noticed that in writ petition No.427 of 2012 (Consolidation) order dated 31.7.2015 is already existing for deciding the said proceedings expeditiously. It seems that for the last more than ten years, opposite party No.1 has not compiled with the directions of this Court dated 31.7.2015, as such, no further directions are requires to be passed.

- However, it is provided that in case the revision is not decided within next six months, liberty is granted to the petitioners to move appropriate application for contempt of the order dated 31.7.2015.

- With aforesaid observation and direction, the petition stands disposed of.
