Heard the counsel for the petitioner.
The present petition has been filed challenging the order dated 29.5.2023 passed by the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Karmik), Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow transferring the petitioner who is, at present, working as Sub-Inspector with the Uttar Pradesh Police. The petitioner also challenges the consequential relieving order dated 10.1.2024 passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate, Kanpur Nagar.
In support of his contention, the counsel for the petitioner relies on the judgments and orders dated 5.3.2024 and 28.2.2024 passed by this Court in Writ - A No. 3460 of 2024 and Writ - A No. 2517 of 2024 in which the transfer orders have been quashed on ground of belated relieving order. The order challenged in the present petition was also subject to challenge in Writ - A No. 2517 of 2024.
The grievance of the petitioner can also be looked into by the Deputy Inspector General (Karmik), Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.
The petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the Deputy Inspector General (Karmik), Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow along with all the necessary documents who shall pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of filing the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law on the basis of his decision.
With the aforesaid direction, the petition is disposed of.
