1. Present petition has been filed with the following prayers:

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of 'Mandamus' thereby commanding the opposite parties to provide employment to petitioner whose ancestral land was acquired for establishment of the Narendra Deo University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of 'Mandamus' thereby commanding the opposite party no. 3/competent authority to decide the representation of the petitioner for his employment.

......."

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that a decision is not being taken by the respondents on the application filed by the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent also places reliance on a judgment of this Court to argue that the relief as prayed cannot be granted.

4. However, considering the fact that the matter is seized with respondent no.3, the present petition is disposed off directing respondent no.3 to take a decision on the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three months.
