1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Puneet Chandra, learned counsel for respondent and learned Standing Counsel.

2. Learned counsel for petitioner states that the order dated 08.04.2016 by which selection made was cancelled and same was challenged by number of writ petitions. Five of them were decided as a bunch with leading matter being Writ-A No.8763 of 2016 (S/S) (Aman Rizvi Vs. State of U.P. and others) decided by the order dated 23.02.2017. By the said judgment, impugned order of cancellation of selection dated 08.04.2016 was set aside and a mandamus was issued to competent authority to pass appropriate fresh orders in accordance with law. He further states that since the entire order is already set aside, therefore, same order ought to be followed in the present petition. He further states that in furtherance of order dated 23.02.2017 passed in Aman Rizvi (supra), petitioner is also permitted to join where he is regularly working.

4. In view thereof, no further orders are required to be passed in present writ petition as the matter stands concluded in matter of Aman Rizvi (supra).

5. The present petition is consigned to record.
