Present petition has been filed with the following prayers:

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party no.2 to decide the representation dated 20.10.2021 which is contained in Annexure No.1 to this writ petition.

(ii) Issue a writ, order or directions in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party no.2 to release gratuity and leave encashment in terms of judgment passed by the Hon'ble High Court in case of Devendra Nath Rai passed in Writ - A No.50704 of 2017."

Considering the fact that the decision is to be taken by opposite party no.2, the present petition is disposed off directing the opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law and in accordance with the judgment as may be cited by the petitioner within a period of two months from the date when an application is filed.
