The notifications dated 24.11.2005 and 13.7.2006 issued under Sections 4 and 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 have been challenged in the present writ petition. The said notifications were also challenged in Writ - C No. 2104 of 2006 and other connected writ petitions.

The said writ petitions have been dismissed by this Court vide its judgment and order dated 23.5.2016.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is also dismissed for the same reasons as stated in the judgment and order dated 23.5.2016 passed in Writ - C No. 2104 of 2006 and other connected writ petitions.

However, it is clarified that the petitioners shall be at liberty to institute appropriate proceedings, in case, the compensation has not been paid to them, in accordance with law.
