2. Heard Sri Santosh Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the appellant and Sri Ajay Singh, learned State and perused the record.

3. The present appeal has been filed by the appellant Smt. Devratia against the judgment and order dated 13.03.2006 passed by Additional Session Judge/Fast Track Court No.20, Allahabad in Sessions Trial No. 582 of 1997, Police Station Karari, District Allahabad.

4. As per office report dated 05.07.2023 a report from C.J.M. concerned was called for regarding living status of the appellant in present appeal. In compliance of the said order, C.J.M. concerned vide letter dated 25.05.2023 informed that the appellant - Smt. Devratia has died on 15.05.2010. In support of which a report of concerned police station and the copy of death certificate issued by Government of Uttar Pradesh and the copy of the statements of the family members of Smt. Devratia have also been annexed thereto.

5. Accordingly, the appeal stands abated.

6. Office is directed to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge concerned within two weeks from today.
